For God So Loved the World

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…”

John 3:7–14
Jesus continues His conversation with Nicodemus, declaring, “You must be born again,” and describing the work of the Spirit. The passage then turns toward the image of Moses raising the serpent in the wilderness and the coming lifting up of the Son of Man.

John 3:14–20
The teaching continues into the promise of eternal life and the celebrated words of John 3:16 — “For God so loved the world.” Jesus then speaks of the judgment "the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness more than the light because their works were evil."

Each Sacred Text Replica begins with careful research and close study of the surviving ancient manuscript. The manuscript image is reproduced on premium Egyptian papyrus, reflecting the material of the original.

The papyrus fibers are carefully cut and worked to recreate the irregular edges, lacunae, holes, and other signs of deterioration visible in the surviving manuscript. Because this finishing is performed individually rather than by automated cutting, subtle variations occur naturally, making each completed replica unique.
