For the Book of Romans and more:
OT Parchment Manuscripts
It is our hope at Sacred Text Replicas, by Christ’s strength, to continue producing replicas of many kinds — whether modest individual pieces or large-scale historical reconstructions. Among our most ambitious goals is the recreation of notable ancient manuscripts in their original codex (book) form, reflecting both their codicological significance and offering a glimpse into the early structural development of what would eventually become the modern printed Bible. While there are already remarkable surviving codices such as Codex Sinaiticus, along with quality reproductions available today, Papyrus 46 presents a unique and far more challenging endeavor. Dating roughly 150 years earlier than many of the great biblical codices, P46 no longer survives in its original bound codex form, making any reconstruction both historically significant and deeply complex. Our desire is to pursue this work through projects connected to Papyrus 46 and other early manuscripts. This includes the production of individual codex sections such as Ephesians, Romans, and Hebrews, while ultimately working toward the far greater undertaking of reconstructing the entirety of the P46 manuscript as a complete codex replica.
Such upcoming projects include manuscript-piece reconstructions of several notable texts from the Dead Sea Scrolls and other early manuscript traditions preserved on parchment. Unlike papyrus, parchment presents a fundamentally different set of artistic and technical challenges, requiring far more time, fidelity, and material preparation to reproduce accurately. Because of the complexity involved in working with animal skin substrates, these reconstructions are substantially more labor-intensive and meticulous than our previous papyrus-based projects.
Planned works include the Habakkuk Commentary (1QpHab), the Great Isaiah Scroll (1QIsaᵃ), Septuagint manuscript traditions, the Minor Prophets Scroll, and additional ancient textual witnesses currently in development. We hope to begin unveiling portions of these projects by the end of the summer.
Where papyrus reconstruction primarily involves replicating fiber texture, sheet construction, ink absorption, and aging patterns, parchment requires careful attention to an entirely different material character. Each replica must account for the natural variation of skin surfaces, translucency, follicle patterns, stretching tensions, edge preparation, and the distinctive writing behavior produced by parchment manuscripts in antiquity. Reproducing these features authentically demands a slower and more exacting process, particularly when attempting to mirror the visual appearance of fragmented or damaged originals.

We are excited to announce that, in addition to this new Ephesians collection, we are introducing a unique reconstruction project that brings the manuscript back into its original codex (book) form by stitching the surviving leaves together. This restored presentation allows readers to experience the text as it would have originally appeared in antiquity. The reconstructed codex will be beautifully displayed in a custom archival presentation box designed to preserve and showcase the manuscript in an elegant and historically inspired format.

P46 Ephesians Codex (Book) Form
The Ephesians collection contains 7 folios (14 pages total — 7 fronts and 7 backs), creating a short yet complete codex display ideal for any study, library, or office.

THE HIGH PRIESTLY PRAYER
____________
____________
Jesus prays that He and the Father would glorify one another after completing the work He was sent to do, sharing again the glory they had before creation.
Jesus prays to the Father about the work of praying, saving, and defending His sheep, Jesus has not lost one and now Jesus is coming to the Father
Jesus says He has given His sheep God’s Word, and the world hates them because they are not of the world. He asks the Father to sanctify them in the truth, saying, “Your word is truth,” and sends them into the world.
Jesus asks the Father that His sheep may be one, just as He and the Father are one, so the world may know God’s love for them and the glory Jesus shared with the Father before the foundation of the world.

More coming soon from the Book of John. Jn: 4,6, 11, etc.
